I'm going to make more of it as soon as the side branches grow a little.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Pretty one. I almost ordered it when they had the co-op on hibiscus liners.

Doesn't bloom real heavily..but still pretty. :-)

Piedmont, MO(Zone 6a)

Give it time to get bigger and it will bloom very heavily...anyway, mine does and it is not a year old yet.
It was about 9 months old in this picture (from rooted coop liner). Sometimes it has 6 flowers at once, and this is in winter (in the greenhouse).
Good luck with yours!

Great pic toxic...mine is slow to put new growth on too.it seems to just make side shoots all the time.

Piedmont, MO(Zone 6a)

Mine made a lot of side shoots, too. I think that is a good thing...the plant is now very bushy...and of course that leads to more blooms!
Just be patient, LOL.
I find the foliage on Erin Rachael to be more attractive than most of my other hibiscus plants. I also have Petra, a sport of Erin Rachael. The flowers are a wee bit larger, and last a day or two longer. The color fades to gold/white/magenta as the bloom ages.
