Sweet Pea Vines

Lubbock, TX(Zone 7a)

Looking to trade for Sweet Pea Vine seed in America, Painted Lady or will consider other heirloom colors. Have Morning Glories in Heavenly Blue, Pink Star, Texas Wine and Star of Yelta. Also have Dappled Pink Japanese 4 O'Clock, Malva Zebrina Mexican Hat and other flower seeds. Thanks

Mexican Hat does good in heat and dry weather.

May I ask what Japanese Four O Clock is? Do you have a pic?

Thanks!

The Dappled Pink variety of 4 O'Clock is from seed traded with a gardener in Japan. It has a beautiful variegated pink and white bloom that to me is one of the prettier 4 O'Clock varieties. I use the term Japanese 4 O'Clock because it is not a color that I have seen mentioned in trade or sales ads in the USA. We may start seeing the Dappled Pink color start showing up more, as I have traded seed to a number of gardeners in the last 2 or 3 years.

I don't have a good close-up picture, but here is one that gives you some idea of what it looks like.

Sorry, small picture is hard to see with all the copyright lettering. It might show up a little better on this GW Exchange link.
