Last piece of the Portal carving coming along

I suppose this evening could be called a banner day. I finished roughing out everything I could reach and got to turn the piece around to access the other edge.
Another few hours of carving and everything will be roughed in and ready for the detailing. Then a trial fitting to match up the adjoining tendrils and out for staining. It could be finished before All Fools Day.
