Does anyone remember a nice, medium sized red plum that grew on a lot of southern homesteads about 40 years ago?One of the good features was the fact that it put up suckers some distance from the tree, much like the wild Chicasaws, and all of these were true to the original. The plums were about 1 1/2 inches in diameter with good flavor. If anyone has one of these I would make a good trade for a couple of suckers.
And speaking of plums
The only one that I could think if would be Munson's plum or some people call it wild goose plum. Nice to see a local in here !
