I live in an attached MIL apartment on my son's house. They have a nine week old teacup Yorkie, and today is the first day she has been left alone. I'm getting worried because they left a 8:30 this morning and aren't due back until 12:30 to take her out. She hasn't stopped barking in all this time. Will she injure herself?

Instead of a crate (my son freaked) she has the bathroom and small hall full of beds, toys and her tidy paper. There are two rooms and a closed door between us and I can hear her! My Doxie, Rosey, has discovered all her maternal genes in spite of being spayed and is pacing the floor.

How long does this phase last? I feel my maternal genes stirring too!!!!
