Where are the best places to buy any bananas without paying twice the cost of the banana in shipping charges? Big Dipper has great prices, but the shipping kills me.

I was thinking about buying a tray from Agristarts but I don't necessarily want 72 of the same thing and there is an upcharge of $18 to split varieties. Hmph. I'm also not sure how long it would take for them to get HUGE. Last time I got them they only got to about four feet tall the first year but doubled that the second year. Last year that little nursery in Amelia, The Flower Bed, had Rowe Red and Basjoo in quart pots for $12 but they were buy one get one. They hit about 6 feet by the end of summer.
OUCh 72 of the Same variety! I wonder when that nursery in Amelia will open up?
Melissa, I have also bought from this ebayer and was 100% satisfied. They are little plants but so far no problem caring for them. I bought 1 manzano and 1 ice cream. these will be my first edibles. I'm excited. hope this helps.
