I have been thinking about buying a plant to cannibalize, instead of leaves. I think leaves are more iffy and more expensive. Some of the minis have a lot of leaves on them.
My leaf pots are growing (very slowly).
I use to buy all leaves, now i buy plants , put leaves down, share leaves. start plant over nu crown to once again have more leaves to share !! or share the plant !! much more for my $$$$$$
allison you are right...better to buy plant in most cases
