My dracunculus vulgaris has responded to our warmer than everage winter temps and is now happily sprouting upward. This is only Feb. and I am in Seattle WashingtonI am certain that we can get some frosts in the near future. IS the Drac strong enough or able at all to withstand a frost? Or, do I need to bring it indoors?
Any input appreciated.. This is a nice large tuber that I would not want to risk losing

Dracunclus Vulgaris - up now frost danger ?
Nah, mine are up now. They were up earlier last winter. I had a frost or two then that didn't seem to get the new leaves, too. I would suggest a deep, fluffy mulch to keep the sun from warming the soil any more.

Thanks for the words of wisdom
