Greetings from Central Texas

Harker Heights, TX(Zone 8a)

New to all this growing and gardening. Excited that I may have identified the trees on my land. Believe them to be Ashe Junipers? While searching the web, to verify my tree identity, I found Dave's Garden Site. Very interesting site and decided to join. Many questions since I am such a novice but will track with the forums to learn and figure out how to ask questions and seek guidance before my "not so green thumb" takes control. I would add image of the tree and what I did yesterday but haven't figured this capability out. Anyway have a great super bowl day.

Welcome to DG and Texas gardening! We also have Ashe Juniper on our land, to the NW of San Antonio. In addition, we have live oaks, red oaks, black cherry trees, native sumacs, etc. Do you know what kind of soil you have? Growing plants is such an adventure! If you need any seeds, let me know.
