Calla Green Goddess

I love this unusual plant. Bought 3 from Dutchbulbs and they took a while to get going, in fact one died, but they replaced. Then bought 5 more (on sale) from B&B, and these have not needed any adjusting period. Obviously superior bulbs. Planted inground, part shade.

and here is Puddy. not a bulb, but he patiently sits by my side when I'm planting. So he is a bulb nut.

So funny though, when he sees me digging, he proceeds to dig too. "If mama does it, I guess I should, too". He gets very confused when I yell "no digging", while I continue to dig. lol So far digging has not been a problem. he does it only if he sees me do it.

I like this one very much. Pretty and unusual isn't it?

I grew some from seed. They did great the first two years after I planted them out, then just kinda declined. They're still out there but never get very big or flower. I dug some up last year, potted them up and have been babying them in hopes of more blooms for cutting. Beautiful plant.
