I found parts of this book by Margie Korn when I was picking up leaves today. It dates from1960 but gives a lot of planting dates just for our area. Does anyone use these dates? I am going to go ahead and try them this year and see if they work (hey I have been needing something like this for a while - a lot better then the packets that say March-June!)

Mitch, were parts of this book flying around your yard with the leaves? And you found them when you were raking?
No Mary - not in my yard... I pick up leaves in trash bags out along the road. My little trees gave up their leaves a long time ago - so I steal bags anywhere I can. These where at an old home not very far from me the home is for sale, so I guess that they cleaned out the shed and this had to be out there? They had some boxes of garden junk..... so that is my guess.
