It's difficult for me living in an area where animal life is regarded as so expendable. Between the farming and hunting, my 4-legged friends don't have much of a chance. But I can force myself to accept the realities of farming and hunting as long as they are performed as responsibly as possible. What I can not and will not ever accept is the complete disregard and disrespect for life illustrated in a story on tonight's news. Two teenage boys shot and killed three horses and one cow, just because they were "bored and had a new gun they wanted to try out". These weren't their own animals, mind you. These children apparently just decided to kill the first living animals they could find.
Where did this world go so wrong, and who are we all going to try to blame on Judgement Day?
I feel so tired.
