Sinnigias...

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

This is a pic of some of the micro sinnigias Keyring graciously traded with me in one of our first trades. They have little bitty pea size tubers and the tiniest blooms.
They are adorable and bloom easily . I keep mine in a candy jar and cake dome.
I hope to have seeds/starters for the spring trades, so if you like em let me know.

Hope the pics show ok...

I'm hoping they will do well and spread in there.

just too darn cute! here's a dumb question. the sinningia are planted by seed right? then develop the tuber? maybe I just answered my own question.

yahh-huh. Things with tubers and rhizomes usually spend most of the first growing season developingi the tuber - no flowers.

If you put down leaves of a sinningia, they spend the first few months developing a tuber too. Actually might see flowers sooner if you start from seed.
