2 pkgs. Crescent rolls
2 8 oz pkgs. cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg yolk

Glaze Topping
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons milk
Spread package of crescent rolls in bottom of 9 X 13" pan pressing seams til sealed.
Blend cream cheese, sugar and egg yolk. Spread mixture over the rolls in the pan.
On a floured board, spread out the remaining crescent rolls and press or roll til they make a sheet wider and longer than the pan, lay it over the cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
Mix glaze and drizzle over warm Danish. Cut into squares and serve warm or cold.
Of course, I would experiment with other fillings such as marmalade, or various fruits, apples, raisins (cooked), etc.
