Make your Cats work for the garden . . . . .

We have seven cats. 4 North American born and 3 native Puertoriquenos. The natives do thier dodo in the jungle ! Our North American cats: Chocolata, Tigra, Tempesta and Vinilla are very sophistocated. They insist on dodoing in trays of special litter !

In our plant nursery (we sell to garden centers) we use Cypress Mulch to aerate the soil mix. Out of cat litter one day I said to wife . . . use some Cypress . . . (Its not cheap here). We thought we were being smart by dumping cat used Cypress around plants ( Keeps weeks away too). Then one day in the potting soil bin I dumped Cypress cat litter with lots of little brown lumps, to see what happens ??

Now we are selling beautiful plants all over Puerto Rico, telling people we have a special formula fertilizer we use to make the plants very healthy ! (Feline enriched potting soil).

Now we found a way to use our ingrediants twice (If you count the cost of cat food, that makes the savings thrice!). How's that for "Recycling" ??
