O/T sort of. Gessies at the Conservatory of Flowers-SFO

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

Here's a link to some photos of Gessies I took at the C of F in San Fran on Sunday after my AVSA meeting. Not many gessies, and one that I'm not totally sure of, but posted it any way.
(thanks for turning me on to Flikr, Keyring! I really love how easy it is to use)

BUT if you are into Orchids, you can look at them too! (and naturally, Begonias!)

Fabulous pictures. It felt like I could reach out and touch each one of the blooms.

thanks for the photos!

I've seen lots of macros of flowers taken there, but no big picture pics. It's really nice to see how the place looks.

I have this habit of playing "guess who I am" with flickr photos - hope it's not annoying.

Beautiful :))

Thanks for sharing the nice tour! Beautiful orchids!

I got your flickr mail More Water, it confused me at first until I followed the bread crumb trail back to the Gessie photos.

That flickr is a super web site. I did a search for 'African Violets' and it returned some super photos!

if anyone is in the SFO Bay area, DO NOT miss the orchid show. It's a drool-fest from the minute you walk in the door.

I'll have to try this how does the search work where you find the super pictures ?

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

let's see, go to flickr search page http://www.flickr.com/photos/search/
and type in to the Search with one or more tags (returned 87 matches)
or the other option , Search titles, tags and descriptions (returned 614 matches)

If the web site requires you to log in, you just need to have an account (free) or yahoo account (also free, and the two companies are linked)
Ali, you can upload your photos to the site and organize them into albums for free - but there is a limit on the monthly upload unless you pay for the 'pro' account.

For free accounts, in addition to the monthly upload limit, there is a 200 photostream limit (people can only see the 200 most recent photos - the old ones are still there but no one can see them) and a limit on sets/albums.
