He is a VOIP engineer, among many other things. He writes programs for internet phone service and all kinds of stuff like that. I am so proud of him. He is so smart. When I listen to him talking on the phone, it sounds like he is speaking a foreign language, all those technical terms that he uses. The guy that he works for does not know how to manage the company's finances very well and has gotten them in trouble. My husband last got paid on Dec 1s. He is owed 4 paychecks now and we are behind on our bills. Our landlady is ready to throw us in the street because we owe her for two months rent. So it has been hard. At least we are getting something. Hopefully enough to get us caught up. But with all of that going on, he feels that it is important to set aside a little money for me and my plants. He knows how important they are to me so he made sure that I got what I needed for my plants. He really is a great husband. And he is so young. Much younger than me. But more mature than my ex every thought of being. He takes really good care of me. That is why it was so important for me to find something that he likes. And that is why the AVs are so important to me. Anyway, we are just praying that he will get caught up on his pay soon. We surely do need it. I was so happy about the sago palm. He has wanted one for so long. And they were either too expensive or too damaged where people liked playing with them and breaking off branches. This one that Lorry sent is so beautiful. It has a certain way that it curves around, making it very unique. What was so funny is that when we got through going through the box from Lorry, he told me, "make sure you pot mine up first". I thought that was so cute. Anyway, I can hardly wait until the AVs get bigger and start to flower. Not to mention how excited I will be to see a baby pop through the soil. I will be so excited to be an official AV mom.
