Would you like to hear something odd? As an experiment, I sent an AV leaf in a bubble envelope to someone in MO with a seed trade we had going. I was enormously suprised that she said it arroved unfrozen. I am thinking that another such experiment is in order to say, NY, eh, Anita? I could send some Noid leaves.
I am going up to take pictures of things now.

WOW Kenton lucky ship. I shipped some leaves in an extra thick large buble wrap to Canada once was not sure if they would smoosh. But twice they made it ! It was not winter time though.

I had Apls and three other Chimerias once I bought from Rob's they came all in bloom. Silly me I gave them away. Mom or someone comes over I say oh you like it and give them away all the time. I can't help myself people get so Happy and big smiles !

Yeah I started bidding on that one, it was sure pretty but got way too pricey for my blood. I actually sat there and bid it up- hope the seller appreciates my efforts. I couldn't believe that it went as high as it did.
If any one has a leaf I'd love one. It sure is pretty.

Well everybody should save their extras and sell on ebay, although my daughter sold seed/plants on ebay that 2 or 3 weeks before went for high dollar and then when she sold went for "normal" price.
No way! I feel squimish paying 4.50 for leaves- of course my track record is not great, YET!
You ever do a search and put African violets in then check every word and listings that ended then highest precie first. WOW
Yeah but the listing fee, and final fee, and Pay Pal fee. A paypal payment they take 74 cents.
And having to pay for listings that did not sell , and like your daughter the next person's listing may sell slow.
Fees add up so much I fount it better to ship extra plants free for shipping and handling.

When you do a search for ended only gives one day. The other day was a set of russian leaves for almost $ 70.00. I told my husband I could not beleive it. What if the leaves die ?
Oh yeah the Russian and the Space babies! Even have seen them on other sites- purchase only, and they are high! It is suprising, but on the other hand the value of an object is determined by how much one person is willing to pay.
I hope the two Russian babies i sent you grow well. I have seen tiny baby Russian plants on Ebay in 3 oz. cup start at $9.95 and go so high i could never catch them. And they were way smaller than the plants for shipping i send out. They do root and grow well for me !

WOW Kenton you will get a lot of babies. Keep them growing until big you'll get six or more good size babies one that leaf and the way it growing.( and now that they are coming up they will grow real fast !! ) I separated a leaf like this the other day ( different Av)and it had 8 Av's so big with good root system they went right into their own 2.50 inch pots !
Your leaves have rooted and growing babies super fast. You have not had them long. Great job growing !

selling on ebay can be time consuming - I sold my cards on there for awhile - it runs hot and cold. One minute they are selling like hot cakes and the next they sit there. Plus, on every click there's a fee to be paid - a fee to list, a fee when sold, a fee to get your money...

Have you notice many Double pinks came out in the 50's. Everyone went crazy when the Double Pinks came out and I think Lyon's was the first ?
