CLOSED: WANTED double poppy seed !

Pontotoc, MS(Zone 7b)

I am a new member, so don't know how all this goes. I would really love to get a variety of colors of double poppy seed when the new crop comes in. Right now I have some philippine lily seed I collected in the fall of 2005 I can share.

Athens, OH

I have red and pink peony poppy seeds if you would like some.

Yes, Yes , Yes ! I haven't learned how this works. I tried reading through all the rules but just haven't figured it all out yet.If you don't mind instructing me on what I need to do, I would love to take you up on that. Would you like some philippine lily seed?I don't know how they do in the north, but they are wonderful here in the south - late summer through fall.Great for a "white" garden.

Athens, OH

I'll send the seeds in a bubble wrap envelope as soon as you send me your address.
I would love some seeds. Feel free to use the envelope I send you when you get it.
Please let me know the best way to germinate the philippine lilies seed. Can I start them inside or do they need to be winter sown?

I didn't see you address listed in the address exchange so please DMail me or post it here. I am in the address exchange. At the top of the HOME page, click Extras, click DG address exchange, then click on rox_male.

I will try to follow those directions and list my address. I just haven't learned how to do all this yet. Anyway, here it is. Libby Lee @ 115 Tall Oaks Drive Clinton Mississippi 39056

I usually just throw my seed down on top of the ground in late fall, but you can start them indoors. It might be the second year before they bloom, but here they bloom the first year.Six feet tall ( I usually stake them ) and fragrant.I usually let the seed pods (each will have hundreds of seed !!) dry on the stalk and split open and blow in the wind. Then they surprise me at where they pop up. Of course I mow over a lot of them that way, too.

Thanks for the sowing tips! I cna't wait to try them.
I'll send out the seeds tomorrow. Enjoy!
