On thursday I went to the dentist to get a tooth pulled and try out my new partial plate. I wore the plate for 3 hours then put it away for the night. The next day I headed off to work. I got about 1/2 mile from home, when I remembered that I had left the container with the partial plate on the dresser at the top of the steps. I told my self that I would have to go back home to put it up. Then I said to myself, well, it's toward the back of the dresser, and Boomer (6 month old chew master) has never gotten anything off that dresser. It will be okay. No, I better turn around. Forget it, it will be okay. So, off I went to work. At 2:00 in the afternoon, I got a call from my husband. You left your teeth on the dresser and Boomer has destroyed them. I paid $450 for the teeth (my dentist gave me $200 + off the normal price), and I wore them for 3 hours. That is one expensive mistake. But how can I stay mad at him when he looks at me like this? (see picture below)
I am supposed to go to the dentist anytime that I need to get them adjusted alittle, until I am happy and comfortable with them. I figured that I will put the mangled thing in my hand (and the 4 teeth that he chewed out of it) in to the dentist and tell him that I need to get it adjusted alittle. What do you think he will say? LOL
