Planting your rooted Burgs.

Grantsboro, NC(Zone 8b)

I know somewhere I saw a thread on when and how to do this. Mine have got 5 or 6 inches of growth and I need to know if they are ready to be planted.
This is the first experience with these flowers and I can hardly wait till they bloom.

If they have good roots you can plant them. Make sure you have a location that will be sunny in the morning and most of all, be sure you won't have any frost now. Frost will kill young plants and wet roots that are cold will also kill them. It's best to wait for the ground to warm and have warm days and nights. You could put it in a pot, but be very careful not to have the soil too wet. Then when warm weather is here to stay you could put it in the ground. Just my opinion.

Lavina, which kind did you get? All are pretty! Do you still have them in water? I bet they do great for you if you already have so much growth. You must be doing all things right.

I was looking at pictures of my yard from last summer yesterday, like you, I sure can't wait for the good times to roll! Do you have a camera so you can take pics for us all when they start to bloom?
