Kismet, Lotusblossom's new Bengal kitty

I just got her from the breeder two and a half weeks ago. As GW said. she has been kept in the spare room with a post, toys and scratching board. I watch TV and read up there a lot each day and DH comes up often, too. She is used to us and comes to us now, as well as coming out from under the wing chair when friends come over. She is allowed in the house to explore and get acclimated every day, and gets along well with the cat we got in June from the animal shelter (already spayed and declawed).

She would have been sold as a kitten but she did so well in shows and was so exceptionally beautiful that the breeder (who is one of the top Bengal breeders in the country) kept her for breeding purposes. She never conceived and Libbie (the breeder) knew the other two Bengals we had purchased fom her years ago had gone over the Rainbow Bridge. So she gave this little gal to us. I had to sign an agreement when I brought her home that I would wait until March to have her spayed, because there was a chance she could be pregnant, in which case her babies would be born by mid March.
