I will have Kopper King in March and can root you Lord Baltimore but will have to wait until it comes up.

Hi Badseed, How do you root Hibiscus?

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Hi Sandy! You can grow it from root cuttings or from the new growth in the spring. You can also seperate the plant with a sharp knife. I am sure other people have their own methods but these work for me. :)

Rooting tropical Hibiscus is easy. In Spring when I prune mine I take 6 inch cuttings and strip all but 2 leaves at the end and plant them in a pot filled with sandy garden soil. Keep them warm, moist and out of harsh sun until new growth shows. Often the first new growth is a flower. That's how I do it.

I may try that in the spring--the root cuttings.

Hi:

Disco Belle Rosy Red grows in containers. If you like, after they bloom this year, I can send you the seeds.

Hello,

I live in Canada and if anyone has any spare seeds, I would love to have them. I will gladly pay for them and shipping.

Thanks a bunch.

Joanne
