Open Trades

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

I've been very preoccupied this year - between the water in the fuel tank, bronchitis, a cyst on my foot, then the 60' pine tree that fell across my yard...and now a face-full of poison ivy, I'm afraid I got very distracted.

If I have an open trade with you, and haven't been in touch - PLEASE drop me a note!

Thanks!

I do not have a trade with you but feel so badly over your poisen oak. I do not get it but so many people around here do. One thing that is supposed to work is if you get around it, take a washcloth and put hydrogen peroxide on it, swab yourself really well with that then shower. The hydrogen peroxide is supposed to break down the oil, soap then can remove it. You will not get the rash. If you only use soap then it will not remove the oil. My friend tried it and was amazed by how well it worked.

Well with all the bad luck you have had you must prepare yourself for a bunch of good stuff so it all averages out. So wise to get all the icky stuff done so early in the year,.....I feel for you.

I do know about the tree, I had a spruce at least that size fall on my yard two years ago and still have uneven lawn that was caused by the cat pushing the tree over the bank. A mess.

Hi!

Let me know about the begonia cuttings and I will get our trades out Friday probably.

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

We might need to hold off a bit on the cuttings as we are very cold here and I don't think they will travel well.

I will send you a d-mail.
