It is still chilly here! Whoever stole our warm weather, please send it back!
I was out doing an appraisal and saw 9 or 10 bags of leaves next door on the curb. I wanted them soooooooo bad but I wasn't in the truck. I may have to go "leaf cruising" this weekend!

lol - I dont have a truck... so if I see them I have to haul them in the car!

Mitch, did you get rain at your place?

west Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

waiting for the rain here--hear its going to be 77 tomorrow and sunny! Can't wait to get out and garden!

Waxahachie, TX(Zone 8a)

Woo-Hoo!

Last night it rained a *real rain*!

not mere cloud spit:
a *real* *rain*!

(it's too wet to go leaf lurking, all the bags are sodden, & they'll weigh a ton, but the rain is worth it!)

We got a nice rain today, from about 12:30 to 4. Good and solid, my yard is happy.

I'm glad the weather will be drier tomorrow, I'm going to Arbor Gate to get my Meyer Lemon. I stopped by on Thurs, while I was traveling for work (I always try to take my lunches there), and picked one out before the crowd gets there tomorrow. Boy they smell great!

We just got a teeny sprinkle so I worked redoing a ginger bed. Dug out three giant jasmines that took up 1/3 of the bed. Now I have more room. I gave them to the neighbor. When I leaned over the fence to ask if they wanted it I heard "yes" from her and "no" from him! I said "its in the shade when you're ready for it." He told her she could have them if she dug the holes, but I later saw him digging big holes for them.

A good rain here too...........nice, steady, and long. We still need sooooooo much more!!
But if it hadn't been the middle of the night I would have been out there dancing in it!

So sorry ya'll I have been out of town... crossed the Red River to OKC...

We got rain here and good thing my radish, peas, and beets are up and my little onions and garlics reallllllly loved the rain! It rained so fast that the raised bed flooded over so I guess it got a good soak :-)

Will start a new thread in the morning!

Mitch
