The flowers on these will never be confused for Epiphyllums, but they have their charm. When they open, they look like miniature fringed bells. Since they are almost exclusively on the tips of the stems, the effect is enhanced. The sun was coming from the right so those parts look yellowish, but the whole plant is dark green.

Yeah, that plant should be repotted. I can put the pot on my head and the stems completely cover my face. DD say it's an improvement.
I just happened into these epiphytes by happenstance. Once I saw how happy they were here even with my cool greenhouse (nights in mid-40'sF/7C), I have been on the lookout for more species. I have some hybrids too, but most are seedlings and haven't bloomed yet.
Here is a common one, Rhipsalis crispata in bloom. The flowers are about the same size as the other one, but they open more on crispata.
Neato! The flowers seems to glow.
