Very slow growing. Has three pups that have been there for a few years. Don't seem to have done much.

That's a beauty, love the blue colour, and the shape of the leaves, and the markings, and, well, everything really! I wonder if the pups are waiting in the wings for when the momma plant dies after flowering?

I think the 'pups' in this photo are an aloe (brevifolia?), not Agave babies... but the pups, when the do show, will usually stay smaller than 'mom' until she flowers and dies, then take off.

Trust me Bob, there are three little Agave pups.

If you look between the two patches of Aloe brevifolia in this pic, directly beneath the mother plant, there are three baby Agaves.

I see! Straying a bit from home, aren't they? My plant cranks out babies that it looks like it's sitting on (making them harder to remove)
