Oh yes I am so happy, I got Allison's package today!!! What an amazing assortment of plants and leaves and seeds for my yard!! Thank you so much Allison- I am thrilled. My grandson, 3 yrs old kept asking "Why she sent those to you grandma?" I just kept telling him because she's a very, very nice lady! He helped me unwrap them, very carefully and very gently- they were so well wrapped! All arrived in perfect condition. We enjoyed the photos of you and your dog- my grandson wants to give Precious a kiss!
Allison, again, thank you very much, what more can I say, you are a unique and wonderful person and I believe that you are rubbing off on all of us and making us better people in the process. You and your husband are in my thoughts.

Oh I am here, just been busy I had all those leaves to pot and then I have been busy trying to buy out everything on ebay! LOL! Also I have been taking care of my sweetie pie/grandson, and actually had some landscape work to do- one client requested monthly maintainence. Also I think I have some strange form of ADD- when I sit down/slow down I tend to get tired and if nothing else is begging for my attention, I nap. I have to tell you, I am a world class napper. But at my age I figure napping is using up those few years I have left. LOL. Thank you for your concern, I am truly touched.

I never use to be a napper but now I should be called a waker as I nap more than wake. lol My eyes barely opened until 3:30 PM. My keyboard and mouse is in bed with me and when I wake here and there I read th forum !

I totally agree with christmascactus, your B-Man Cosimo is the most beautiful AV I have seen!! One would look wonderful in my small collection ;) Currently my favorite bloomer is unamed but it is a rich purple with white edged flower. It bearly stops blooming for me. In 2003 It won an "Award of Excellence" ribbon plus "First prize" at our local fair. Will try to find a photo, it was pre-digital LOL

B-Man's African violets are Canadian Hybrids ! Not sure if the Canadian HYbrid list ( which is long ) might be in the Sticky ? If not I have it.

Allison, you know I have the Optimara Little Blackfeet, Arapaho, Hopi and Hopi II for you. I actually think they have Girl at the end of each indian name, don't they? Like Little Hopi Girl... Is that right? Anyway, I have leaves of those down, and I will send you leaves (and plantlets if they're ready) as soon as warm weather gets here, as well as the others we talked about. It's way too cold to be shipping them now. It's snowing here today!

Thanks for missing me, but again, have been tending to my other life. We had one night of below freezing weather and oh the havoc it caused!
I have some photos I will post - finally my Glitterstar blossom opened! It's lovely. Also the Optimara Noid I bought months ago at a local nursery bloomed and it's lovely to, no idea what it is, just nice bright pink w/ ruffled edges. Hard to get good photos because of the ongoing overcast weather. Without good natural light my pink ends up looking nearly white due to the flash.
