having trouble handling my mini's

that Lorry gave me...my fingers are too big....yikes.....can i put them in bigger pots? where i will have more room...Lorry I think i lost my buckeye...dang it...but everything else is doing well

Bob, you have to be careful about bigger pots... if there's too much extra potting mix in ratio to roots, the mix stays too wet, and the plant develops rot. That said, I think the depth of the pot may be more important than the width, so you might try putting a mini into one of those shallow but wider Bonsai pots... If it starts looking droopy even though you know the soil is moist, then you'll have to rescue it and put it back in a smaller pot.

Sometimes, when I'm potting up the little ones, I use chopsticks to settle the soil around them where my fingers won't fit.

Yes keep plants in 2 Inch pots until they are 6-7 inches across then go to 2.50 then 3 inch...Miniatures never need larger than 2 Inch and Semi's 2.50 inch :))
