My Cricket used to have a totally black nose, like most (if not all) Shih Tzus. She is 4 years old, at 2 years, this started. I heard it's called "winter nose" and can be related to thyroid condition. She seems pretty active, play a lot. I would like it if her nose were black again, but the most important thing is that she be healthy. Anyone seen or had any experience with this?
