Where has this month gone? It doesn't seem possible that we are almost into another month of a new year. I think I'll demand a recount of time. LOL
Our oldest son and his wife are here for the day. They came in last night. Needed to check on Jack and see for themselves how he is. It is settling in on the children that dad is in really serious condition in some ways. And not being very compliant with doctor's orders sometimes. He said he did try the wheel chair a couple times yesterday but that getting up out of it and sitting back down is so difficult that he just wants to get up from his chair or bed once and be done with it. He doesn't walk very much and we try to wait on him as much as possible which sometimes gets irratating because we are busy doing other things too. The toe does look better. So perhaps we are doing all this cleaning and moving of furniture for nothing. Well, the cleaning definately needed to be done.
I ate too much chocolate(sugar free)last night under the influence of my sleeping pills and am paying for it this morning. I've been up about 8 times since about 4 a.m. with terrible diarhhea. Maybe I've lost some weight! :-) I'm taking generic Imodium and it seems to finally be helping somewhat.
We found more clothes in the attic that I had never been able to part with. I have several pounds of loss to go before I will be able to wear one of the skirts. But I do have it on and partly zipped up the back. I also found a dress that I always just loved and that is a new goal for me too. I haven't tried it on yet but know I have a LONG way to go before it will fit me nicely. These clothes must be nearly 30 years old! It's a wonder the fabric isn't rotted from age but it seems to be good as new.
We got just a tad of snow last night. It is barely covering the ground in some places. But the children said that when they came thru Sedalia last night on the way to the farm there was heavy rain, sleet, etc. Out here we got nothing worth mentioning. We seem to live in a smal pocket area that gets very little of the rain, snow, etc. that is all around us within 5 miles or less. Sometimes we can see the rain in the distance but here the will be shining brightly.and we will never get a drop..
I'm so glad to hear all of you are doing so well with your diets, exercise, weight losses, etc. That is just wonderful to hear. I am gettiing exercise of sorts moving all this stuff around in the house but that isn't exactly what would be considered cardiac, etc. Just plain hard work for the most part.
Jack is going to have to download a patch on our windows program so we will stop getting this separation anxiety notice from Panda. It keeps saying we don't have good anti virus protection yet when we go to check it we find it has everything updated like it is suppose to. The patch is suppose to fix that. I printed out the instructions for Jack the other day but he hasn't done it yet. If I do it we likely won't have a computer running at all until he fixes it. I am not literate in that field.
Breakfast is being delivered. GOD bless you all.
