Dwarf Cavendish

Dutton, AL(Zone 7a)

Hi, I've got a Dwarf Cavendish and am wanting to separate the offshoots from the main plant, so I can trade them or plant somewhere else. Can anyone tell me the best way to remove these offshoots, without hurting them or the main plant? Thank you.

I would take the whole plant out of the pot and shake off or wash off the dirt so I could see the roots. Cut the babies from the mother plant. Make sure when you cut the babies free that they have roots of their own. Dust the cuts with fungicide and repot.
After separating my bananas, I let the cut places dry a bit before repotting.
