CLOSED: Indian Summer Rudbeckia for SASE only

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Hi there! I can't believe I'm doing this b/c I'm so busy..

I have a huge bag of uncleaned I.Summer Rudbeckia.

Last year I did an SASE for these and had them all cleaned nicely..

This year I don't have time!!! I just hate for all these seeds to just sit there and go to waste..

If you don't mind uncleaned seeds from my FAVORITE plant send me an SASBE and I will get some out to you!

Nicole - My address is in the ADDRESS EXCHANGE.

Here's a pic of what the flowers look like! It's a Zone 9 perennial - I grow them as annuals. VERY easy to start from seed and perform like annuals too!

ANYONE below this post.. Give me a couple of days.. I am afraid a well meaning person has either put my seeds in a 'safe' place or thrown them away..... I have been looking tonight and will keep looking!!! Cross your fingers!!!

Donna your package is going out today!

I'm closing this thread b/c I still can't find my big bag of seeds!!!! GRRR!!!! I did find a few seed heads that were in the same bag as some Coneflower seeds though.. *sigh*

Nicole

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I found my seeds! They were in another bag so I didn't see them..

If you want some - once again these are UNCLEANED seeds. One seed head has enough see for you and all your neighbors! LOL!!

Send me an SASBE if you want some! Tell me how many you want b/c I can really load you down if you want!! :)

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Susan the offer still stands! I have Coneflower seeds but have NO idea if they are white or purple... I collected both last year and evidently I need to pay closer attention this year when I go collecting!!! I will send what I have though if you want to take a chance! :)

Thanks Nicole! It will go out in tomorrows mail. I would love to grow the Coneflower... I have lots of regular purple coneflower seeds, but I would grows yours out too and find the whites and give away the rest or just put them in the garden! It would only take one plant for me to have enough seed for the following year. Thanks again.

Susan

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Send em on folks! I have enough !!

Susan - I still have my 'White Swan' Coneflower plant too!!! I can do one of 2 things... Send you some seeds this summer once the ripen - OR I can send you a division of the plant! I will send the Coneflower seeds I have now on with the Rudbeckia too though.

Nicole, may I have some Rudbeckia seeds? Anything you want in return? I will put a SASE in the mail in the morning. Thanks

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Defoecat I don't need a thing!! I finally made myself put my own foot down about taking more seeds... I am afraid I turned into a 'seed hoarder' - you know, like a 'pet hoarder?' It's not fair to the seeds - I can't get them all planted! HA !!

I have plently left!! Send your SASE!!!

send it on EJ!!!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Good Morning!

I finally went to the PO box yesterday. I had 3 SASE's in there. If I don't get them mailed out this week I will certainly have the time to get them together this weekend! I can probably do them this week but you never know with an almost 4 year old running around.

I have SASE's from

Dbibb
P.H. (initials)
J.S. (initials)

I am saying this ONLY for future trade info for you. PLEASE do not take this to mean I am upset, angry, blah blah because I absolutely am NOT!! :) Of the three I received: 1 had no postage included, and 1 was a regular envelope with tissue in it.

AGAIN. Do NOT think I'm being critical b/c I am absolutely NOT. I am only pointing this out because there are some folks here that take the trading thing waaaaayyyy too seriously and would have issue with it.

Tips:

Don't forget the postage! LOL!!

If you don't have a bubble envelope tell the person beforehand. Chances are they already have one. Then you can just mail a $.60 stamp and they will use their own bubble. Envelopes and tissue = crushed seeds - no matter how small.

I hope you aren't offended - I certainly don't mean it that way!

No matter who asks I'm not telling who did what!! LOL!! Don't even ask! I'm mailing out your seeds postage/bubble wrap or not!!

Marietta, GA(Zone 7b)

Nicole, to add to that, I'm quite sure that someone mailed me an envie for your seeds! Ha! :) I will d-mail and see if i can send them something I have instead :)

Nicole, you are absolutely the most generous seed giver ever. The envelope you sent me was absolutely huge with heads! I am most grateful. Mine are already sown in a huge wintersowing pot and I look forward to sharing the pictures of them in my garden. Thanks so much for you generosity. I hope to reciprocate once I get this wintersowing thing running!

Susan

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Oh good! Glad you like them Susan!! I winter sowed direct last winter. I loved the results! I had some cool looking poppies from that! This year I didn't even plant my garlic! Oh well...

That's funny you got that SASE! LOL!! Whoever it was can certainly send one to me and I will get them some seeds!

I forgot to put earlier that I closed the thread until after I distribute this last bunch. Highly possible I will still have more!! This thread may make a record for being opened and closed the most!! HA!!

Nicole
