I have never seen this one before, is it tropical in origin or an annual?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It is perennial, it's native to south TX and the hill country. It will survive zone 8 with mulch. It's called hibiscus martianus aka H. cardiophyllus. Do you want these seeds Kyle?

I'll get them right out, they germinate much better while still fresh!

HI Calalily, do you have anymore of these seeds left? I'd appreciate some if you do still have them?

I have another pod just ripening. It probably has 8-12 seeds in it(the usual number).

ooh great. I will D-mail you with my address if you want to share some. Do you have any other hardy hibiscus?
I have Blue River II and Old Yella if you want some in return. Thanks

Blue River II is the big white one isn't it? I'd love to have some of those.

I have been out of touch for awhile, but would love some seeds if there are any more available. I am glad to be back reading and posting again. Nancyjean
