for those of you who enjoyed my strawberry and baby spinach salad this should be right up your alley
ingredients
6 oz. slivered almonds
2 packages of ramen noodles, any flavor (about 6 oz.)
1/4 cup sesame seeds
4 tbls butter
2 lbs. napa cabbage, finely chopped
10 scallions, chopped
1 cup veg oil
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tbs soy sauce
breadk/crush noodles in small pieces (in the bag)
melt butter in pan under medium heat and add noodles, almonds and sesame seed and cook until golden, about 5 minutes, do not brown
cool in fridg and then add the cabbage and scallion and combine well
in a separate bowl whisk together the oil sugar, vinegar and soy sauce
when ready to serve, just coat the salad with the dressing. do not use it all
