I live in Katrina land. I lost my home and my in-laws lost their home to Katrina (we lived next door to each other). My mother-in-law told us Sunday that they will be moving to Arkansas or Missouri this summer. They want to return to their roots (Ozarks) to live the rest of their lives. I would like to collect some daylilies for her before they move because daylilies are her favorite plant. Most of hers were killed by the salt water surge. I'll take anything you have. I will glady send money for shipping because I really don't have any plants to trade. Thanks for everything, Julie
daylilies
How horrible!
You should post this on the daylily forum; there are several enthusiastics/fanatics who are very generous.
I will have several unnamed (my son accidentally removed all the tags) daylilies to share in March. If this isn't too late, let me know.

Thanks, I'll save your message. Keep in touch. Julie
froggies, I have to thin out the daylily bulbs at our community center this spring. I won't do it, though, until I see which ones are where as a lot of them have run together. When is the best time to dig them up? Can I dig them while they're blooming so I know what I'm sending?
No, you don't have to wait until they bloom. I'll take whatever colors they are. I guess the best time to dig them is when it's warm enough to get them out of the ground. Thanks so much, Love, julie
Oh, I'd love some of the Kwanzas. You are all so wonderful. Love, julie
Julie, I have promised others that I would wait until they bloom and post pictures so they can be identified and then traded. Put me on your list and maybe I can mail directly to your in-laws as well as yourself. Do you have a permanent place to live yet?
Woodspirit1,
We're closing on our house tomorrow. I can wait until you're ready to send them. After all, I have much to keep me busy just getting into the new house. Thanks, julie
I will put you on my list.

Thanks, you're an angel. If you need for me to send postage, let me know. Thanks again, julie
I plan to be digging some red and some yellow daylilies within the next month. I don't have names for them and until they bloom I won't be sure of their colors. If you'd like some of those I'll be glad to send them.
LMK.
Diane
Thank you. Anything will be appreciated. If you need postage, let me know. Thanks, julie
OK, Julie. Postage would be appreciated as I am currently on disability. I'll let you know when I'm ready and I'll get an address from you then. I'm glad they will be going to a good home.
I also will be digging up some cannas. One is a bright yellow flower with lighter green leaves and the other is about 6 ft. tall with red flowers and dark reddish green leaves. Could you also use some of those?
Diane
Hi,
I just moved and the yard need help. I would enjoy some day lily bulbs if possible. I brought my favorite perennials with me to the new home. I have georgous red fountain grass I could trade. It is a redish 5 foot round plant. A real eyecatcher. Also some common iris, lilly and other grass.
Hi, I make real freshwater pearl jewerly with sterling silver clasps. Also glass bead jewerly, some with cute glass lady bugs.
I would like some of your extra perrenials to fill my big new yard. I live in zone 5. Trade?
Whenever any of you are ready to send daylilies, I'm ready. Let me know about postage. Thanks, julie
