i found plants believe it or not. at walmart of all places,i can take cuttings?

I collected seeds from my friend's plant last year, but they didn't come true to seed - came out just the regular shape of petal.

well i am trying to root some cuttings so we shall see.i am planning on taking the plants inside this winter becauseit took me forever to find them and i want them again next year.so maybe if i have luck on the cuttings i will do some more

May I ask where you saw them available in other countries? I've placed a few international seed orders with out too many problems and I've been wanting this variety for awhile now. If you remember the sites could you post them or d-mail?

I believe you can get them from Thompson Morgan too.
We first saw these in Scotland on a wondeful vacation there in '95.
We called 'em "osteoporosis plants" to help us remember the
name. I didn't see them here in the states 'til someone showed them
at the Phila Flower Show a couple years ago. Now they seem
to be quite popular. I got some at a local nursery this year.
