Buster and the fishing hook!

Boy, what a scary this morning!

My dogs Buster and Jasper was outside with my boy Dustin. They went fishing at neighbor's pond. I was on my treadmill doing excrise cardo. My DD was riding on four wheeler and rushed came home and told me about Buster and fishing hook. I had only 20 mintues left on my treadmill. I stopped and got on four wheeler and went to see what happened. Poor my DS was crying (he's 9). I had to check on Buster and tried to get hook off. It was hanging on bottom lip but I couldn't get off. It was little bleeding. Buster was calm. I was trying to find a way to get that off than bring it to the vet. So the last choice, I have to bring him to the vet and they put him on sedated and removed the hook. Also run some blood test, got rabies shot and annual shots. etc.. He got internal? worms and put on medicine for 3 days. Also they will call me on Wednesday for result for heart worm. I pray for good news.. he doesn't have it. He's indoor dog but there's bad mosquites around where we lives. He was on heart medicines few months ago. Since we brought him to the vet and got everything he need to get it done.

Buster is doing fine now.. but little wozzy still from the sedate medicine. He wont be able to eat for 2 more hours. Poor Buster!
