Seedling Heat Mats

Huntsville, AL(Zone 7a)

Hello all.
I was searching the internet for a heat mat for my soon-to-be-started (and a bit late already) Datura seeds and would like your input as to type, accessories and cost of those you have. I picked up a heating pad at WW but neglected to note that it shuts off after 60 minutes. Great for the cat for a quick warm nap, but not so great when it comes to seedlings and a very, very cold house.
TIA for your help.

Barb I just ordered two large (2 ft x 4 ft) ones from Parks but I didnt do a lot of shopping around. They were I think 56.00 a piece if you bought two. Burpee had the same for 76.00 a piece. There are some good shoppers here that I am sure will find you a real deal.

Thanks, Delisa. Did yours come with a thermostat or did you have to order that in addition to the mat? The ones I've seen today on the internet all had to have this added as a separate purchase.

Barb you can get it with or without the thermostat. Without it keeps the seed about ten degrees warmer than the room temp it says.
