Hi all.... I have seen the term FC lots recently:

FC is a software program offered by the AVS with photo and culture info on thousands of AV's and other gessies. If you are a member, it's relatively inexpensive. PC only . There's a link under 'Software' in our sticky.

I have two tiny babies of Funny Bunny all from Mom Funny Bunny Tiny and cute one in a one inch pot, one in a 2 inch pot pots ! Both have tiny blossoms vivid Fucshia :)) I think they are more dark when first open.
The Funny Bunny Baby from Same Mom as theses but different leaf that I sent RG " Amy" that plant has been blooming non stop for over a month just on my windowsill and when they open they are darker. . I just love Funny Bunny they bloom all the time !
Sanna have you grown a plant from Mom ( first plant you got from Bluebird) Funny Bunny with her leaf ? Then did you grow that baby up.to Mom size .and put down leaf from New Mom and grow a plant from the second Mom ? This would be considered second generation.
First Mom is not counted when growing out an African violet for registration. New plants have to go threw this also to make sure they are stable.

You have to figure if you buy a plant " Named Funny Bunny :))" And get it in November 2005 say. And put a leaf down from this Mom. This leaf is going to take any where from 6-9 months to bloom and be old enough to take a leaf from. This new blooming plant is First Generation. So Now your into August 2006 putting down a leaf from First generation Mom. An other 6-9 ( Most likely nine months of more) before you get your second generation Mom plant blooming and old enough to put a leaf down. . Now were into May 2007 :)) And now we will put a leaf down from Scond generation Mom . This leaf once again is going to take at least 6-9 months before having third generation Mom plant blooming . Now we a into Feb, 2008. Now you will know if you have three generations of Stable Funny Bunny and now may give the Sport a name " Only if this Sport has not been named and registered yet" Joe said it's important to check Sport list make sure it has not already been named. Also the Sport is supose to
be an improvment to Mom plant !
