Charlie, my Standard Poodle of many years ago will always remain my most cherished memories. Being 34 and unmarried was something of fair game for the local ladies of my small Scandinavian community. Charlie's position behind the wheel of my van seemed to give the appearance from afar of a person eliciting the comment once of " who was that blond in your van?" Wish I had a picture of that, but one of Matt the Smooth Fox Terrier chasing him will have to do. Standard Poodles are the most marvelous of dogs, well, so are my Shelties for that matter.
