Got my new Logee's catalog today and my new sofa -- what do you think I'll be doing this evening? So keep your eyes open for the catalog if you haven't received it yet. Sure helps break up the winter, doesn't it?

New catalog and sofa
you know, it seems that by this time last year my mailbox was full of catalogs. This year the only two I've gotten is J&P and white flower farm. Not even the Parks, and I'm a repeat buyer. Wonder what's going on.
Logee's cat. will be a good read.
Someone on another thread said they thought the catalogs may be late this year because of the hurricanes. I don't know if that's true or not, but it sounds feasible.
If you think Logees catalog is winter medicine
What is fun for the winter ..to really break the grips of the ice and snow...
I recomend a trip to Logees...
You will arrive in the earth based drive way... covered in 6" of ice... slip in to the office from there and leave the ice / snow and winter far far behind.... into the greenhouses and you're met with an 80* warmth... high humidity... and the aroma of thousands of types of tropicals many of which are in bloom.. absolutely heavenly..
you can spend $300 a day at a spa... and the pleasure ...[ for me ] i s no where as winter alleviating as a day in the many greenhouses... lemons blooming... grand... colors and smells of the long forgotten tropical summer... priceless... free admission... and no minimum to worry about ... although the maximum is a real hit to the pocket.. but who can resist... or care ... Gordon
Oh to whiff a Lemon or any other bloom right now.....Come on spring!!!!.......
Amen Gordon, I have done that and share your feelings about the place. About that $300 spa however; it sounds like a bargain. I could (did) spend way more than that at Logees. They have lots more in the greenhouses than they have in that beautiful catalog.
Gordan
that's not a hard choice....
besides
Who would pick pampering over plants

My catalogs have been slow to arrive as well. I finally got Park's Seed yesterday. I got the Garden of Earthly Delights last week. I'm enjoying them both on my same old dog hair covered sofa. By the way, the "hurricanes" are the excuse du'jour for EVERYTHING down here.
Barbra, is this the catalog with Kyles Brugmansia Inca Sun on the cover. I haven't received mine, but someone posted it on the brugmansia forum. Go Kyle!!
