Burpee's Summerlong Basil wanted, have other basils to trade

I'd like to try a few Burpee's Summerlong Basil in containers this year. If you have an extra pinch of seed, I would love to trade!

I have Lemon Basil, Lime Basil, Red Rubin Basil, Italian Genovese Basil, Cinnamon Basil, and Thai Basil to trade. I also have OP tomatoes, peppers (mostly hot & hotter), and flowers.

Unfortunately i don't have the Summerlong you are looking for, i have Sacred Purple, Napoletano, Italian Large Leaf. If you are interested in any of those three and you don't get a hit for Summerlong, i would love to trade for a bit of your Lime Basil, I have never heard of it. Is it as 'limy' as the lemon is 'lemony' ?

Oh, lime basil has a very distinctive lime flavor and scent... at least as strong as most lemon basil, and definitely "lime" rather than "lemon." My original plant came from DeBaggio several years ago, and it seems to come true from seed each year.

If you want, we can wait and add it to a trade later, or I'd be happy to send you some for postage... I'm getting caught up on so many things around home that I haven't started "serious" trading or SASBE offers yet... I'll get there! Nudge me if necessary, LOL!

Lime basil sounds heavenly!!!

Are you interested in anything else for trade? I too am intrigued by the lime basil and also the cinnamon.

Hey, y'all... I'll post a list of basils and more for trade or SASBE later on when I've got my act together & caught up on a few things. Right now, I'm just trying to see if anyone has 'Summerlong' basil, or if I need to order it if I want to try it. I'll try to check back on this thread, but if you want basils for SASBE, please feel free to nudge me next month if I haven't posted about them. Thanks!
