Finally Came In!

Hello. I've been around but never subscribed before. So I just peeked in and thought I'd join you all. I'm from southcentral Texas. We're in a bad drought, so gardening is such a challenge right now. Still waiting for a little rain, drizzle, or even some fog. Looking forward to seeing past the first post in a thread and meeting all the Dave's Garden subscribers.

looks like you afre an early morning person.

Waving from south west KY where the winter has been quite mild this year. We're still about a foot below normal rainfall, but we got rain the other day, so the burn ban has been lifetd.

One of my favorite plants is the Ocotillo, FOUQUIERIA splendens.

Thanks, everyone! Joyce, would love that! Ron (Fouquieria), thanks for the little tip on that GW forum. That place was really making me nervous! I feel much better now that I've subscribed here. Sitting on the fence can get kind of uncomfortable, if you know what I mean.
