I was at Home Depot the other day and they had pots of AVs on sale ~~ 3, 4, some of them FIVE violets in one container. You could tell these had been around for a while as all the violets were large and outgrowing the container ~~~~ and none of them appeared to be blooming. Although I vowed to never buy another violet from a "box store" because of my cyclamin mite nightmare.....this one container caught my eye. There in the middle of the display was ONE violet with one single beautiful bloom! I anguished and anguised...and then gave in & bought it. Brought them home, separated them out and I now have 4 new NoIDs.Needless to say.....they are MAJORLY ISOLATED until I am 100% sure they are bug free!!!!!!!!
Here is the picture of the one and only bloom....
New Plants
Wow, that's pretty. My HD sure doesn't have anything that nice!
That is beautiful. The blossoms is facintating ! Almost looks like Chimera Stipes. Can't wait to see more blooms.
Yes keep them isolated for a good 3 months of longer. And don't work on them and go work on others.. Be careful ! Allison
