do you folks use paypal when you order things?
Yes. I've just been using it with a credit card, but we recently did the "verification" thing to link it to our checking account. I've never had a problem with PayPal. The fees are on the high side (and some sellers will ask that you add the paypal charges to your payment), but the convenience can't be beat.
However, beware of "fishing!" You may get emails that seem to be from them about something that's wrong or need to be verified with your account.... There will be a link that goes to what looks *exactly* like the PayPal site and asks for your userID and password.... never try to access your account through a link like this, or somebody will get your account information! If you're not sure, go to your PayPal account as usual (by using your bookmark or typing in the URL), and figure out from there if there's any action you need to take.
That's good advise Jill. I get those junk email all the time. And yes, Bob, I use paypal for most ebay things unless they dont take it.
I sometimes use it for an internet purchase too.
yes! I am trying to order Pow wow from Violet Gallery- will call them today to see if they really have it. Only problem is they say they won't ship til April, which seems pretty conservative. May ask if we can ship sooner. Will let you know.

VG orders are "first come first served" so placing your order early increases your chances of getting the variety you want, if they have it at all. They were potting up plantlets the other day, so they should know what they have, although they may not know in an instant how many are already spoken for. (Yes, I've already ordered, LOL!)
