"Callwave"free(?) internet answering service

I am presently using "Callwave" answering service. This service used to cost me only a buck. There service was free the buck went to Ma Bell. I recently got an email in from Callwave. They are going to start charging me for the service. While it is only a few bucks (3.95) I used to get it for free..and free was...well, free!! Anyway, do any of you use any other service that is free and satisfied with? Thanks for the help! Lisa
