Cheap seeds in Canada
Thank you zarcanat. Ü
I see a number of heirloom tomatoes that I have been thinking of trying. :)
Tell me about them next summer, if they work well for you, I might try them too. My favorite one is green zebra, great tomato flavour and a bit tangy.
Won't you join the international tomato robin? http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/561630/
I haven't tried the green zebra, sounds like one I'd like to try.
I'll have to see what I've got for seeds (I'm tempted but have just paid for DD's second term at College) and my wallet looks a bit barren right now. ;b
I understand that, that's the reason I should put my credit card away but I never do! LOL!
Wow! What a great site! Never seen this one. Thanks I think....lol!!
:) Donna
You're telling me...............seeds for trops also!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh E
Their description of the Montreal melon really made me want to try growing it. Hmmm... do deer eat melon plants?
I dunno but watch for your neighbors LOL!
Thank you zarcanat,
Placed a small order - $20 worth LOL
Going for the colored carrots they look so cool! Plus other stuff.
Thanks again!
Tell me, what did you buy?!

Asarina Victoria Falls
Convolvulus
Salpiglossis
Tobacco Daylight Sensation
Gazania
Did you order from them?
Dawna
No I didn't this year but I might do. I usually order a few time per year, cannot resist since it is so cheap! I tried nice tomatoe varieties, some vegetable oddities and nice flowers. This year I was planning to try a round zucchini, paprika pepper (yummi with pasta) and Naranjiilla as an ornamental. You are very lucky to be able to grow melons, here, in my community garden, there is always a high risk of curcurbit diseases and I am sure I would never have the chance to pick any melon myself (there are thieves for special vegetables and fruits, sigh). I wanted to try the original carrots too but right now I think I already bought too much seeds LOL!
I've placed my order with Solana Seeds, zarcanat, hoping for some interesting results this summer. --A.
I feel like a publicist ;-)
I ordered from Solana about three years ago, when their web site was all in French and the selection was very small. They've sure grown up!
I just received my order from Patrick's Studio(Guru....) interesting one this time, "Calandrina grandiflora".....what a gorgeous flower!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Elaine
