I never did understand the price of Optimira..yes they are pretty but so aren't so many other varieties!
well when the people in Germany started them...they made them very scarce and if i recall correctly...they HAD/HAVE patents on them..and you had to pay them money to reproduce or something like that....i always liked mine better...he he
Optimara named ones Bob seem to still be hard to get. And only a couple places sell the leaves and $7.50 for the set of Optimara WOW High price. Like Lorry said their pretty but so are lot's of other varities. Then on top of the $7.50 you have to spend at least $14.00 before shipping and shipping too :)) lol
Oh my goodness I went back and checked it's $7.50 for one leaf..just one and leaf set two leaves are $14.50 two of the same kind wow then $5.00 shipping so say I want one set of Optimara Florida leaves it will cost me $19.50.

Are optimara's in such high demand? To be honest, I've always liked the plants of other hybridizers better, but maybe there's a reason they cost so much????
yes i have not been big fan of the optimara either...but i think they do a big business as they're pretty cheap here....and Allison...very expensive...i sure can't afford them nor do i want them..but they look pretty...been busy getting Lorry's pkgs together...wait till she sees all the tropical things i'm bring her and her husband...will be fun....lol
