The teeniest little EP flower

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Ecuador Pink will always be my most favorite brug in the whole world. When I grew it in TN. I was lucky enough to see flowers as long as from my elbow to the tip of my fingers. EP loved TN. EP hates FL heat. Right now in the cooler weather it is doing great but the flowers are still not as large as they were in TN.
I took these pictures in May of 2005. This was my very first FL EP flower. Look at how tiny it was! Less than 11" long from stem attachment to bottom of flower and about 3 inches wide. It stayed very pale. Cute as a bugs ear lol!

This will be my first year growing EP given to me by avery sweet DG member and friend. I just hope that she likes the weather here in NC.

Vickie that is really one of my favorites also. Nice

Good old EP takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Here it got spider mites in summer and frost burn in the late fall, but sure enough there's more buds on her now. Maybe not the most spectacular of all brugs in my climate, but she's produced a few much nicer than herself and her dependability makes her a keeper for me.
